Technics SL-1600MKii Direct Drive turntable

Made in Japan in the late 1970's, the Technics SL-1600Mkii is considered to be the audiophile version of the massively popular Technics SL-1200 Mkii.
 
The SL-1600Mkii reflects many of the developments that made Technics a leader in the turntable industry - and adds some new ones too. It has Quartz locked speed accuracy, almost instantaneous speed and fast braking due to an electronic braking system.  It is fully automatic - with all controls on the outside.  Simply put a record on, hit the Start button and let the turntable do everything for you. 
 
This turntable has been recently serviced and is ready to spin for you. It also comes with a new stylus and is fully setup in all repects.
 
It is in superb condition and is in the original box (doesn't have the inserts - just the box)
