As a tiny little business, I try to keep things local when buying spares, parts and other things. Some places I use quite often - in no particular order:
Jaycar - great for components, cleaning sprays, power supplies etc
Bunnings - Yeah I can spend ages there! Great for glues, cleaning cloths, polishes, screws, nuts, bolts etc
Gordon Harris - great for cutting tools, spraypaint, veneers (although veneer isn't my strong suit)
Busy Engraving Ideas Ltd - great service and perfect for those equipment badges - might be thinking of customised Merch!
Sound Division - styli and cartridges all the way
ListeningPost in CHCH - They actually supply original Thorens belts which is great
Aarkim Plastics - whenever I need a lid, I go to these guys. They are very accomodating
PB Tech - they actually have nice RCAs at a reasonable price...plus everything else
Synergy Electronics - soldering irons, great tools and everything else
The Bolt Shop - they have every bolt you could need - and every bolt tool too
Pack and Send - they provide a great service - yes it costs a bit more but they take a lot of the hassle away when receiving turntables
NZ Post - they've become much better over time
Kennards Self Storage - Awesome facility - great place to store everything securely
